Layman’s Terms To Futures Trading
For many people, even experienced traders, trading futures seems like a foreign and intimidating topic. But there’s no need to feel that way.
While futures are different from other trading instruments, they’re no more complicated either. And in the coming years, futures could be the greatest place for traders to grow their accounts quickly and consistently.
What is futures trading and how does it work?
Think of futures as forward contracts. A futures trader buys and sells contracts that are to be executed in the future.
And these contracts usually state that the buyer will pay “X” amount of dollars for “X” amount of the seller’s product, but only when the product is ready.
The agreement is on a fixed price, regardless if the price increases or decreases from the original date.
But both the original buyer and seller have the ability to sell their side of the contract to another buyer.
And since the contract execution set for a future date, this is referred to as a forward contract, or future contract.
So… how does someone make money from this?

Stock, Futures, Forex & Options trading has large potential rewards, but also large potential risk and it is not appropriate for everyone. You must be aware of the risks and be willing to accept them in order to invest in the futures and options markets. Don’t trade with money you can’t afford to lose.
